WakeMed Children's Hospital

I was in Raleigh for a wedding on April 25th and figured this would be a good time to support a new facility. I was put in contact with WakeMed from a Whitney, a college friend. They have a fantastic and beautiful facility. Brad, the Executive Director of the foundation is doing some really great work there, and I’m glad I could contribute.

WakeMed’s Children’s Hospital is the only freestanding children’s hospital in Wake county. They see on average between 5,000 - 6,000 pediatric patients per year. They recently announced a partnership in which Ronald McDonald House will outfit 5 rooms for families of loved ones receiving treatment can stay on site. This month’s delivery will help here.

New blog post is going up about my delivery to WakeMed Children's Hospital in Raleigh this weekend.

Big thanks to Sloan for the Xbox & controller donation. I also was able to provide two more new controllers, 4 new games, and a kinect. Another huge thanks to Whitney for putting me in contact with WakeMed. Couldn’t have done this without you two.
